We were too harsh. DreamGF is a real, functional AI girlfriend generator, with frankly solid image generation and a useful memory system. It is not a scam.

Our claim about “several publishers behind one name” is not backed by any serious source. Pay attention to what you download from the stores, as anywhere, but do not assume the product is dubious.

Standard at $12.99 covers what most people need. Premium only makes sense at high image volume. Gold and Diamond are heavy lifting for the average user, which is an elegant way of saying nobody needs them.

Is DreamGF free?

Barely. You get a very limited free chat and a single image once your character is created. That is enough to see the interface and the character builder, not enough to judge the conversation. The chat feels lifeless until you pay, so treat the free tier as a look at the catalogue, not a test of the product.

Does DreamGF allow NSFW content?

No filter announced, and the product does not hide it. The freedom is real on text and images, within whatever your tokens allow.

A nude image request on a character you built goes straight to generation, no confirmation prompt, no blur, tokens permitting.

The three real flaws

Everything is behind the paywall. Very limited free chat, a single image after you create your character. The chat feels lifeless without paying. You cannot really evaluate before getting your card out.

Faces change. The same character does not have the same face from one image to the next. It is the most-cited technical flaw, and it stings more on a product sold on attachment.

The voice is weak. A weakness even on an otherwise strong product.

Is DreamGF safe?

Mostly yes, with one caveat: the privacy policy is thin.

The publisher is DreamAI SRL, a Romanian company based in Bucharest, under Romanian (so EU) law. It collects your email, device and browsing data, and your chat and generated content. Anything sensitive you type about your sexuality ends up in that pile.

The policy does not say whether chats train its models. It only says the team may read a chat if you report a problem. You can request erasure and a machine-readable export through support, with a 30-day response target. No retention period is given.

Cards go through third-party processors (the names are not disclosed), and DreamGF does not store card data. The billing descriptor on your statement is not disclosed. Refunds are at the company’s discretion, so check your plan before paying for a year.

Red flag: no clear training statement. Share nothing you would not want a human to read.

Verdict

A cheap, honest mobile entry point, provided you accept paying before judging. If your character’s visual consistency matters, Candy.ai and Lovescape are two levels up.
