The catalogue itself skews toward adult and taboo-fantasy roleplay scenarios by AIGirlfriendHQ’s account, with pre-made companions racking up 300,000 to 450,000+ conversations each and 60+ filter tags (Romantic, Dominant, Submissive, RPG, and more) to narrow the browse list.

Every character is labelled a fictional adult 18+, and the platform’s own terms explicitly prohibit content resembling real people or referencing bestiality or underage activity.

The one number that survives across every source is the $4.99/month annual-billing entry point. NSFW sits behind a toggle that’s off by default, which is a deliberate design choice rather than a limitation: it means the browse gallery stays workable in a public or shared setting until you flip it. Once enabled, AIGirlfriendHQ describes access as “full, unrestricted adult content” with no model refusals reported. The one hard line the platform draws, stated directly in its terms, is content resembling real people, bestiality, or anything underage, all explicitly prohibited and enforced through submission review.

Memory: two different claims, worth separating

Nectar advertises a long-term memory toggle, and here the sources genuinely describe different things rather than just disagreeing on a number. A separate source instead cites flat token-based memory sizes per tier (8K, 64K, 16K), a specification-sheet number rather than a tested one. Neither fully explains the other: a message-count test and a token-size spec measure different things, and nothing we found reconciles them into one figure. The privacy pitch, checked against the actual policy

Nectar’s own FAQ copy is unambiguous: “Your conversations stay yours. We do not sell your chats and we do not show them to anyone,” and elsewhere, “your personal data is never shared with third parties.”

The privacy policy text tells a more qualified story. It states the company does not sell, trade, rent or share personal information for marketing purposes without consent, but immediately adds three carve-outs in the same document: information is shared with vendors performing services for the company (including server hosts), non-personal information can be disclosed to “partners, advertisers and other third parties at our discretion,” and everything is transferable in the event of a merger or acquisition. None of that is unusual boilerplate for a SaaS privacy policy, but it sits a step short of the FAQ’s flat “never shared with third parties” framing. Read the marketing copy as the pitch and the policy text as the actual terms, and where the two disagree, the policy governs.

The editor, on paper

Nectar AI’s terms of service name two entities: a US address at 8 The Green, Suite R, Dover, DE 19901, and Lick Labs Ltd, a UK-registered company (Company Registration #16759194) at 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF. The Dover, Delaware address is a registered-agent mail-drop shared by large numbers of unrelated Delaware LLCs, so it identifies a filing address rather than a real operating office; Lick Labs Ltd’s London registration is the more concrete, checkable anchor for who actually runs the product. Nectar also operates a mirror domain, trynectar.ai, serving what appears to be the same product.

Does Nectar AI have a mobile app?
